Surprenant ce matin le ledaerboard du PGT...

Edouard DUbois qui avait planté -5 le 1er tour, a joué +9 le 2è ?
no cut.


Nicolas Maheut qui sort avec -13 total après 2 tours, est disqualifié...

Il nous reste, de l'autre côté du leaderboard, 5 Français dans le top10, dont Leonard Bem, leader à -11, suivi par Antoine Schwartz (-9), et Stan Gautier (-7).

Tous les joueurs bien placés au ranking, dont les 4 premiers Allemands sont bien placés sur l'épreuve, et vont se battre pour les points aujourd'hui...
Les 7 premiers du ranking sont aux avant postes... On croise les doigts pour Leonard Bem !

Maheut Nicolas - Golfeur Professionnel (picture: golfsupport.nl) was forced to pay bitter tuition on the Pro Golf Tour today: after 36 holes of the EXTEC Trophy 2019 by ATOMIC DRINKS in Ypsilon Golf Liberec, the popular Frenchman allegedly led the competition with a total 13 under par (69+62) having set also a new course record.

He was supposed to be two shots clear of his compatriot Léonard Bem. But then the shock: Maheut signed a false score and was subsequently disqualified!

At hole 13 he had needed 4 shots, but signed a 3. Because a 5 was registered for hole 15, but he had made it in 4 strokes there, the error in the total lifted mathematically. Nevertheless tournament director Simon Bowler had to disqualify him after he had received knowledge of the process. Bowler: "Of course this is particularly tragic and annoying in this case, but it does not change the fact that the player is always responsible for his own score. I was very sorry to have to do it, but Nicolas took it in the manner of a true sportsman - and he will learn from it for sure."

Léonard Bem finit 2ème, après un bogey au 17 tandis que l'allemand Finn Fleer faisait birdie au 18. Dur. Mais il monte en puissance, avec 3 top 10 sur ses 5 derniers tournois.
5 autres tricolores dans le top 10, dont l'épatant Félix Mory (11 cuts sur 12, 18ème du ranking), les expérimentés Antoine Schwartz et Franck Daux, la déception Stanislas Gautier (7ème au ranking mais qui joue +4 hier) et le surprenant Dimitri Darnaud, qui commence à pointer le bout de son nez (2 top 6 sur les 4 derniers tournois).
